Question about the pill?

i just recently got on the pill my first pack was ortho tricyclen lo as soon as i finished my very last "active pill" i switched brands to yasmin. that means i did not take the placebos of the ortho i went straight to taking the new yasmin pills. my question is am i still protected from pregnancy when i switch brands (but connected the packs)
