What are examples of republican government? (Republicanism)?

A republican government is a type of government in which the people have the power to control their community, but they delegate their powers to representatives or a government. Examples DO NOT HAVE TO BE OTHER GOVERNMENTS. The United States is an example of a republican government. I just need more examples. (Other governments, groups, communities, etc.)
