Constant coefficients are dimensionless?

I am studying Dimensional ysis now, and it kinda obvious that all numbers are dimensionless. But one thing that bothers me is that some constant coefficients have dimensions. For example, for the exponential decay case, dm/dt = -Km, by dimensional geneity K has dimension of T^(-1). Why?
