Can I get a refund on my Social Security taxes paid while working under an L1 Visa?

Worked in the US between 2002-2005 under an L1 Visa. Paid full resident taxes during this time (taxable wages around $120K/year). Someone mentioned to me that I could be entitled to a refund, probably from my withheld Social Security taxes. Can anyone confirm this to me? Thx!
