I feel awkward about being a virgin?

I'm 20 and I'm in the same boat with you, except when I was in high school a lot of my friends had kids. Don't rush into something just because it feels awkward. Do you have any idea how awkward it is to be 20 and never been kissed? I come off as a "Pretty, Skinny, *****." when in reality I'm not stuck up or self-centered. I'm extremely shy. My point in telling you that was, you can't let how other's perceive you completely rule your life. The best advice in the world (in my mind anyway) is what my mom told me: "Don't rush into anything. Think things ALL the way through, the good the bad and the ugly. And do what you feel is right for you, not anybody else. You weren't put here to impress or prove anything anyone." Good luck!
