Is intimidation and confrontation a BIG problem in today's teenage society?
I really enjoy engaging conversations, especially those in which an argument is provoked or an emotional factor is revealed. It find them very exotic yet mind-provoking - yes, I sound especially initiated. I just find that a great amount of people I know (teenage) are intimidated (maybe even threatened!) by my initiative to start a conversation out of the unusual and of my way of expression. I am very literal and eloquent with my words, sometimes mistakenly sarcastic (which is my humour) - but I don't understand why today's teenage portion are so afraid to confront emotional/serious matters in a provoked conversation. It seems as though they choose to feed off immaturity and jokes for a lifetime. They are in denial of their problems and weaknesses because they feel so insecure! The horrendous thing is that it's the males who are in denial most! So please, answer my question with a wise response and tell me whether or not I am on track!
