Am I separated from the Army?

I joined the Army 14 months ago and was placed in the DEP program. Shortly afterward my father lost his job. I wanted to stay home and help my family. I requested to be separated from the DEP program. No one got back to me and I missed my ship out date. They didn't return my calls or give me back my SS card, Birth Cert, or High School Diploma. WTF. Now that the family situation has stabilized (father stopped working and started drinking heavily, but hes got a job now) can I join a military branch such as the Air Force?
